I'm starting to see a barrage of media articles about schools using SMART Boards in the classroom. It's no surprise that they all seem to mention how much more engaged the students become when teachers use the SMART Board effectively.
Here's a really outstanding article in the Daily Herald-Tribune in Grande Prairie, Alberta that seems to capture the essence of how a SMART Board has the potential to transform a classroom.
Why not print out a few copies and slip them under your Principal's door. You never know what will happen!
It's extremely important to remember that for a SMART Board to be effective in the classroom, it takes dedicated teachers willing to make a difference. However, one of the great things about having a SMART Board in your classroom, is that it can be as much fun for the teacher as it is for the student!
Sharing is Caring!
