I don’t know about you, but I always get a little excited about this time of year. The new school year is just around the corner and I get excited about implementing all the new ideas I have for helping the kids prepare for the 21st century.
This year, I’ll be spending 100% of my time helping teachers integrate technology to help them do their job. A big part of my time will be helping a small contingent of teachers utilize their new SMARTBoards effectively. I’m obviously very excited about this and this blog will be an important tool throughout the year.
My first task will be to update my Teachers Love SMART Boards Web Listing page. This is a very valuable section of my blog; it organizes all the websites that have been discussed on my blog and it classifies them by Grade Level and Subject Level. I hope to have this page updated by the end of next week but feel free to utilize this resource now.
As promised, I’ll also be organizing an online class to help teachers create and maintain a classroom blog. I believe every teacher should have their own blog and this class will be a great opportunity for teachers to get a jump on creating their blog in time for the new school year. Best of all, it’s free!
If you want an easy way to keep up-to-date will all my updates throughout the school year, please subscribe to my blog by email or by RSS.
Sharing is Caring!
P.S. – For those of you who have emailed me this Summer, thank you for you kind words! As some of you already know, I’ve been extremely busy developing training videos on how to use Microsoft Office 2007 for a new client. I’ve also been spending some wonderful time on vacation with my family.
